What can I use to make wheels for a car?

Foster Koopmann: wood. or use lego wheels or pinewood derby car wheels. go to a craft store then to their model car section.

Ilana Gaster: I can't use wheels from a toy car... i have to make them by myself with something reli light.

Derrick Smsith: okay.If the car is less than 1 pound, they don't have to be made of arsenal-grade ingredients.Do you own a drill? It would be helpful. A compass is also a good idea.I don't know what you are using for axles, but keep in mind the alignment of the axles is as important as the accuracy of the wheel construction. There are a million ways you can make wheels. For simpleness, try cardboard. Not the box kind, but the thin hard kind. You can cut out several circles (after using your compass to draw them) and glue them together until they are thick enough. This is called laminating. Use a weight to hold them together while the glue dries, and don't use too much glue, or they will float on each other, leaving you with an egg-s! haped wheel. You can even make them fit into something else, so you have a finished edge when you are done. like, you can cut then so they fit inside a paper towel tube, or some other small container (another had already mentioned a Skoal can).If you don't have something suitable to fit them into, it doesn't matter. Just use them as they are . The centers will already be marked from the pin on your compass....Show more

Giovanni Malool: You get extra suitable acceleration (weight shifts to the back wheels giving them extra traction) and larger managing with a rear-wheelcontinual vehicle (in front-power autos the tires might desire to enhance up and additionally turn the vehicle, that is multiple artwork for in simple terms 2 tires). front-wheelcontinual autos gets slightly extra suitable gas financial device simply by fact they do no longer might desire to spin a driveshaft to potential the rear wheels. oftentimes financial device autos and kin sedans are front-power mu! tually as activities and muscle autos are rear-power. Thats it! !...Show more

Elinore Schlinker: CDs

Charline Granes: buttons

Shawn Lelis: cans, like the one soup comes in or w/e size you need them in. cut them down the width and then put a design in them on the end, paint them if you want, add a lip to them, hell you could make them spinners.... plus other car wheels are made out of aluminum too.

Mildred Pombo: What diameter and whith?

Branden Round: skoal cans work really good
