dental problem -- webbing in my lower lip??

answers 0:Listen i'm having a dental problem....if I pull my lip down and out there are like 3 "web" type pieces connecting the hard part of my jaw (inside the mouth) to my lip (inside the mouth) anyway down in that pouch there is a small white pimple on one of the webs and it HURTS like he*l! What is it and how can I get rid of it?answers 1:I'm pretty sure that Its a canker sore. Whatever it is, you could probably put some oragel on it and if you are really worried, or it won't go away, see a dentist.answers 2:If it is a canker sore DO NOT put Oragel or Ambesol on it, they are caustic and burn like the dickens! Try Orabase-B or Glyoxide, both have heal properties. It could also possibly be a tooth abscess, but sounds more like a canker sore. If it does not start to get better in a week give your DDS a call and have him check it out.answers 3:! dental problem webbing lipanswers 4:idk but that is realllly disgustinggo to the dentist i guessor... look up on webmdanswers 5:Oralgel is fine, that's what it's for. Dental_hygienist had the best answer. Use Peroxyl, it's an oxygenating agent.answers 6:The "webbing" as you call it is normal. Without those tissue attachments you would have difficulty speaking as your lip would flop around more. Check the upper lip. You have them there also. One in the center (some people have a small one here) and one on either side just above and behind the canine teeth. You have to pull your upper lip out far to see them. The small pimple you're discribing is most likely a canker sore. Get some oral gel or Peroxyl (by Colgate) mouth rinse.Either way, what you're describing is normal, so don't freak out. Yes, small little canker sores hurt like crazy!...
