Is Poetry being forgotten a horrible thing?

Lindsey Zanardi: There is still people who love poetry. I'ts not being forgotten by everyone, and the people who it's being forgotten by don't really know what it's about or understand it. We write poetry to express ourself and use words that express feelings that we have. Poetry is beautiful and makes life actually worth living. Poetry is not lame.

Olen Penhallurick: Poetry is thriving. More poems are being published, and more publishers of poetry exist now than at any time in history. It is good to know that you love poetry, and I do not think that is at all lame. There is always room for new poets.

Cliff Jacoby: Poetry isn't being forgotten. Even if it isn't the most popular thing right now, it will come back. Just like all of life, poetry has a cycle of high points and low points. The cycle usually lasts about 50 years with life (including the climate...global warming=over panic). Anyway, poetry will always be popular in the form of musical lyrics t! oo.

Azalee Ahrendes: Poetry has never gone out. A song is just poetry put to music.

Frederic Engellant: i dont think it is lame bcuz i want to learn how to writ them i hav so many idea but i just need to learn how to put it together rite. i though ppl would think i am werid bcuz i like to wrti and read them

Felicitas Phildor: sophisticated aspect. check out at the search engines. that will will help!
